Ashi Anand

Ashi is an Advisor with the Quasi Private Equity team, with over 7 years of fund management experience. Before joining Kotak, he has spent approximately 5 years as a Fund Manager at ICICI Prudential AMC Portfolio Management Services. At ICICI Prudential AMC PMS, he managed the Deep Value Portfolio that delivered significant out performance to the markets. As a Fund Manager, his investment strategy has revolved around long-term investing in mid-market companies with significant amounts of undiscovered value. Key components of the strategy included investments in early stages of an industry turnaround, emerging business opportunities, restructuring initiatives, undiscovered embedded value and underestimation of growth potential. He has also had a brief stint as an Institutional Research Analyst (covering mid-caps) at Indiabulls Securities. Ashi holds an MBA from the Xavier’s Institute of Management (Bhubaneshwar) and a BSc degree in Mathematics from St. Xavier’s College (Mumbai).
