Surendhren Manayath

Surendhren Manayath has overall responsibility for finance, accounts and the operations of all international entities in the Kotak Mahindra Group. He reports to the CEO. Manayath oversees a team that manages back-office activities related to investment in Indian markets by 19 institutional investors with an asset base of USD 1.5 billion. He also oversees the accounting activities of all international entities in the group, including the preparation of periodic financial statements, management accounts and the necessary reporting to regulators. Manayath has more than seven years' experience in the banking and finance sector and three years in other sectors. He has held senior positions in organizations such as TAIB Bank E.C., Credit Union E.C. and Reebok Dubai. A Post-Graduate in Commerce from Calicut University, India, Manayath is also a Chartered Accountant (FCA) from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICFAI) and a CFA from AIMR, USA. He is also a FRM from GARP, USA.
